“People often ask: ‘The latest version now all has the eagle stamp mark, so this must be the old version, right?’ Actually, the Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra hallmark with the eagle stamp appeared about two years ago. It’s not really a ‘latest version,’ but more likely due to different production practices from different workshops.
In 2025, the coding was updated to JO (while JG was used for pieces produced around 2024). Among the 2025 JO products on the market, some have the eagle stamp mark and some don’t. The same goes for the 5-motif bracelet. If there is an eagle stamp marked, the code on the reverse side will be squeezed together with the VCA logo.
Both versions coexist, and personally, I think the ones without the eagle stamp marked look a bit more minimal and elegant.
